  • Racing a Tiburon

Hey my friend just bought a 2003 Hyundi Tiburon. Of course he wants to race. I have a 2000 3.8l A4 with 3.42 gears, Flowmaster 80 series dual exhaust and a K&N filter.I've got the appearence package ground effects so it's a little heavier than stock. What r my chances of beating him? Thanks

Pretty good. There not too fast. Go race and find out. Then post results.

you have the edge with the gears, make sure you get a good launch and you get'm. Do all of the free mods too before you head out, it makes a huge difference. ;)

he also hasn't had his car for a very long time so you know your car better than he knows his. MAJOR advantage.

you will easily beat him with gears, and probably even if you had 3.08's
they run about a 15.9 stock... the 6's do
