Well, I don't want to go backwards in mods.
I am already running hotchkis trailing arms and pan hard rod.
I still have not decided what to do with the torque arm, still stock here.

But, the advice is appreciated, thanks

might i recommend a jegster torque arm?
a bunch of guys around cincinnati like to run with these, on STOCK LCA's and PHB.
insane short times too.

I personally think the biggest weight reduction would be do ditch the rear window. Maybe get a plexiglass one? I don't know how cost effective it is though. But man that thing is a monster.

whoa jsut read the thread...

Screw weight reduction get a torque arm!

that will help you hook alot better...

A good hooking less powered car will usually pull a better time then a non-hooking fast car.

As for the rear hatch... it woudl be a good wegiht redduction but I w0oudl look other places first. Its going to be expensive, and taking weight off the rear wheels. I would continue to reduce weight form the fornt end.

Thats what i think is his problem and why i can hook a 1.65 60 foot with a 100 shot everytime and he still cant hook the 100 shot. I think he has hit the point where he no longer has enghough weight over the rear wheels where he cant hook I would relocate the battery to the back and throw some weight over the wheels. No loseing any weight but also not gaining any weight and it may make the difference in traction

yeah but the more powered non hooking car can have that problem solved with et streets or et drags. I doubt the guys at the track with 800+ hp say man i wish i had less power so i could hook. they just use the right tire thats all.

I'm working on more weight reduction and relocation.
Yes, the @ss end is quite light and now I must work on relocating more to the @ss end.
I'll be purchasing et drag's and weld drag lites for the rear soon.
As for the plexiglass, it was a joke, I didn't order it
Unless someone knows how much it is and weight lost??
