  • Well went back on the nitrous for 12's and.....

I was denied but i still ran a new personal best here it is:
    13.24 @99.09 with a 1.65 60 foot
I was rippin out of the hole but i was getting about 8-13 degrees of Knock retard from 4500-5900 rpms in every gear it was pissing me off. I was using a NX kit with the 52N 33F jets. Please help me discover what this KR is want 12's. And i have a feeling this is part of what is holding me back.

From what i am told by the LS1 Nitrous guys and James(12secv6) do not use Octane booster it can clogg your soliniods. So i am looking into a fuel cell setup with a seperate fuel pump and regulator. Gonna run me about 300-400 bucks but i will need it once i go direct port.

Have you tried upping your fuel jet to a 35? You might be running lean on the top end.

I have never heard of anyone putting in the #35 jet in for the 100 shot. I will try this after work and compare autotap logs. What should my O2's be around. Last night they were ranging depening on RPM from .880-.910 The closes to .880 they were the more KR whice makes me think i am running lean. I really dont want to get into doing the intank fuel pump would a inline fuel pump work cause those are less involved and the reason i am going with the fuel cell and stand alone fuel pump is for my future Direct Port setup where i will need such setup. Thanks for any help i get from yall. I will post my last nights Autotap runs and config and hopefully a autotap run with the #35 fuel jet. Thanks alot once again.

                      Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is an awesome 60 foot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                      I pulled a 1.630 once!!!
I know how hard those are!!!!
Is this a 100 shot or less?
                      I got to a 13.05 on a 75
If it is a 100 shot then you have some fuel issues.
If it is a 100 shot then those mph's should be up around 104-106+
Damn, that launch must have made you stick in your seat huh?
I'm not the person to talk to with KR I know nothing about it.
As for octane boster, yes I have been told by TNT tech's that it makes the plunger in the solenoid swell and you can have a fuel or nitrous solenoid partially or fully stick
I would find a dyno and get that done with a wideband.
I learned a huge amount widebanding my car on the dyno.
We just added fuel jets until the car ran perfect on nitorus.

                      Congrats man!!!!
You are sooooo damn close to 12's
Maybe a couple of days before you hit the track next fill up on 100 octane? or 5 gallons?

                            It's weird.
You pull wicked 60's and 330's but seem to die after that.
                            I spin/ partially hook to a 7.9 or 8.0 1/8 mile
                            And my mph is 105 - 107
I'm not bashing you I'm just trying to analuze your runs.
I wonder if you are running lean at higher rpm's or somewhere down the 1/4?
Or are you maintaining constant nitrous psi down the 1/4?
