Watched a 350z run..and my friends GTP, oh ya a C5-R!!!

didnt think this would qualify for drag, so...anyways finally got to see a new Z run adn must say Im not that impressed...14.5...I know it can do better....and my friend just got a gtp...he spun and ran a 14.6 :D ...and my other friend who rana 14.9 in his RSX-S was only runnin 15.5 with a new short throw shifter ..he cant drive which is obvious...anyways it was cold as hell tonight...I got footage of the 350 runnin will post if you want but someones gotta giver me a host cause mine keeps goin over the limit..its a little shaly cause it was so cold....cool lookin car though...oh ya did I forget to mention the C5-R??....well the guy was on his 3rd engine...and how much did the engne cost?....13,000!!!!....with get this, 175 shot of nitrous!!! [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] thing was fugin sick...all custom fiberglass interior...one badazz car...got video of that too....with the nitrous off and shotty start, and getting stuck in gear he still ran a 13.5...oh well cant win em all...tight fugin car though...

13K for an engin is nothing mti charges 20K for its 422 motors. crazy how they have a waiting list for them [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yep I looked and laughed at the car. Looked like ricer of the nth degree. That was the budwiser logoed corvette with paper looking rims right? I saw it over at the tech line.


BTW, I ran my friend's SS down the track (it was the car's best run of the night...woohoo). 13.2 @ 105.44. I would have spanked that C5-R! :D I wound up running the 13.2 against a Celica GT-S that pulled 14.8@94. At least I had the SS. :D

I got there at 6:30 and stood until almost 11pm. I was there in my friend's 2002 Black SS. He ran 13.3, 13.4, 13.5 (not in that order) at 104-105. I ran it to a 13.2@105. It was great that I lined up against a Celica GT-S that ran 14.86@94. If I had my V6 I would have lost. I enjoyed having him buslengths behind in the V8. :D
