• any idea what kinda of times i'd get?

i have a '95 3.4L engine in my 1985 s-10 pickup. i took off the fuel injection and have 4barrel intake w/500 cfm carb, 4 speed manual transmission, not sure but i think it has 4.10 rear end, it's really low geared, but i was wondering if anyone had any idea what kinda of times i'd get. on the street i get around 80-85mph in the quarter.

not sure if its that bad, I might say low 16s, maybe faster?

best way to tell is run it.

If you are trapping 80-85 in the 1/4 and you do have 4.10s, not sure how the 4-speed plays into it, but you have the intake problem solved that most 3.4Ls use, and that is a decent sized carb for a 3.4L, that makes up alot, I am one of the faster 3.4L in a v6, and I trap 86sih in the 1.4 but I have 3.42s, 4.10s will kill your trap speeds.

If you ever do run it I am really curious what it ran.

Also ever weigh your truck? I had qa 4.3L carbed 92 GMC Jimmy, wasn't too heavy, but brakes and suspension were shot, had alot fo torque though

Try to get some sound clips of your car in action I'm sure a lot of the 3.4L guys would be interested.

I think it should be pretty quick I was reading up on a fiero board how they had a stock 3.4L form a v6 f-body changed the intake to upper intake to something else and gained abotu 25 flywheel hp on a dyno.

youll need a way to get the video/audio to the computer. there are small devices that you can buy to put the clips into the comp. i bought somehting called dazzle photo and video maker. it works real well. you can record only audio if you want.
