I just checked the list on the web page... I'm pretty sure it's accurate. What else is there left to remove? Front half of carpet, air bags, bars in the doors, radio..

I do have a light weight battery now. I'm not sure if I had it when I ran 13.6 or not. I'll have to add that to the new record page.. perhaps 13.4 NA and 11.4 N20. ????

so you are building a strict track car? all i want is to get my car at 2999lbs. i have to weigh my car. i think i'm going to ditch the sub frmae connectors. (35lbs)

My car is definately has a great drag racing setup but I drive it ALL the time on the street. GF loves it too.

I definately recomend removing Sub frames and STB's if you are looking for the best out of the car at the drag strip. Those pieces just slow ya down. Ditch GFX too.

                      sorry for the long delay.

james - the car really isnt gutted, that was in street trim. both seats, all speakers. And as i said, im sure the fact that its a manual has something to do with it, i was able to bench press the trans up while keith guided it into the engine, i think it was 80 lbs dry.

Navyblue - my car is LOADED with factory options, i have EVERYTHING except for the rear defoger, and thats cause it was a florida car and none of em had that option on the lot.

only4u - but the sun hurts my eyes... :( lol

hehe... my car weighed 3140 last itme I weighted, thats only with the apre and jack out...

and miscellaneous tools might have mad eup for it...

there is an advantage of having probable the 4th gen with the least amount of options.

I haven't even tried weight reduction yet(other then spare and jack)
