A buddy of mine had good luck with the (Kirkey) seats, I think that was the name. Much better than the Jaz, much cheaper than the Sparcos. Nearly as light too.

Well, ignore the price because I would not be spending that much.
One of the local LT1 guys (nitroused stock bottom end running 10.2 or 10.4, I forget, 1.36 60 foot) bought 2 of them.
The car is no longer street driven.
This seat was installed once, sat in once, and then removed.
Great deal.
I haven't weighed my drivers seat but I am guessing 45 lbs?
This seat might weigh 8 lbs?
I might lose high 30's??
