do you have traction problems normally with the stock converter? if you do not, then don't waste your times with the slicks. only help they will serve is if you have traction problems, otherwise, just a waste of time...unless you have like 18" wheels and they are 14s or something...

with stock converter its a waste i ran my time on street tires cutting a nice 2.018 60' not a problem

this slicks would probly hurt your times (they may more then your current tires) the skinnies though would help lighten the car up

if you have problems with traction on street tires lower the pressure a little

if you are running 2.0 60s you don't need slicks. skinnies and maybe borrow a pair of 16"s for the rear and you will see a small difference, if any; but slicks are not a good idea...just a waste of time IMO.

The slicks will hurt you, don't bother with them.
Use the skinnies and most likely you will knock off .1 in the 1/4

Yeah he had the heavy @ss rims on when he cuts 2.0s they are 17s.In the back there fine cause they are 275s and gives good amout of traction but w/ the wheels on the front its like pushing a lead sled.GO FOR THE SKINNIES MIKE

PS- Atco this weekend w/ mom's 4 cylinder Camry cannt wait to pull high 16s LMAO.

The slicks will rob you off MPH on the big end. It is typical to see 1-3 MPH loss. Just from me going from stock radials to BFG DR's, I lost 1 MPH average. You normally do see an ET improvement because of the big gain in 60'..but if your getting 2.0's now, are you expecting 1.7's-1.8's to make up the lose on the big end?

Skinnies up front seem to get around .1-.2 ET/1 MPH on some cars. Some cars have no gain, which is strange, but I have seen it happen. I personally just cant stand the look of 4th gens with skinnies, good from the side, from the front, like a turtle with skinny legs...IMO.

                        Good luck.
