• More weight reduction

As you can see I have a trend going on.
I get bored on the off season.

Update:
Previous best n/a weight 3080
A/C removed 30.5 pounds
Stereo and misc wires 14.5
New guesstimate 3035

Today more misc wires, a bit more sound deadening, and fog lights: 12 pounds

New guesstimate 3023 pounds

I will be getting a sparco evo seat shortly (this month) and that should be another 30+ pounds, Hal shocks are supposedly 2 pounds lighter than stock, and light weight carpet GP is in the works now

I am thinking that before the bird goes to the shop for my built engine I can shave off another 45+ pounds

I think I can get the car to 2975

Oh yeah, driver has gone from 225 pounds to 219 Every bit counts

Then they will work their magic.
They have a bone stock bottom end LT1 with nitrous running 10.2 Race weight W/ DRIVER 2850!!!!!!!
I am modeling my bird after his maro (but not as drastic!!)

How much lighter is the lightweight carpet? It cant be to much lighter can it? I honestly dont se the point of going that drastic on a 3.8 street car.

Sorry if I missed it in an early post, but the windshield wash resevour is gone isn't it? (At least empty - 5-7 lbs for a gallon of fluid that's hanging way out in front)

Shhhhhhhhhhh

I currently have 1 burn hole and one wear hole in my present carpet

The weight reduction from stock to light weight is close to 20 pounds

I have said many times before, my bird is no longer daily driven. I bought my sable for driving everyday

I am not planning on staying in the 12's. I am trying to build a mid 11 second v6 f body
Every bit counts between tuning, weight reduction, hp and tq

Windshield resevoir is still in there but always emptied for track use

Thats not a bad price.... especially compared ot the prices I ahve seen for jsut a regular carpet replacement.

But jsut like any capret repl;acement I have seen, costs more $$$ then I want to spend.
