That shop comes out with some seriously hard core race parts.
I am also planning on purchasing some brakes from them later on in the year.
I can't wait for an update on this!!!!
Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph
2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8: 12.125, 116.45
2010 Ford Taurus SHO: no times yet
ABS is very useful for every day, low-traction driving purposes. However, 12secondv6 has primarily a race car, not a daily driver, so deleting ABS is useful for him. If you lock up the brakes, the car will slide more, and your foot can't pump the brakes as fast as ABS.
Good luck with this though, this will sound stupid, but is this primarily for weight reduction purposes?

It is beneficial... but I cna still lock up myu brakes, it turns on, and my car does not feel liek it works as well if I jsut pumped them manually. Basically I prefer to control my car myself.
ABS in the snow or on ice
From my personal experience when the ABS kicks in during really slippery driving conditions (i.e. packed snow or ice) I have better steering control at the expense of a longer stopping distance. In other words, you have a better chance of sliding into something but you have the luxury of picking what to hit. Anyone else from a shi**y climate agree?

Agreed. Although the stopping distance is increased, its easier to maintain control of the car. For an above average driver, ABS may be good or bad (according to preference) but its safer for the average driver to have it.

Yeah in the snow and ice it really sucks. But I have never been in a car without abs so I can't really compare. I just don't like the feeling of it when it comes on.

I dont know man, this is my first winter driving with ABS and I'm in love with it, especially on ice and when it's really slick. Helps me stop alot better than before, (last winter I drove an 80 TA) and I have alot better control. It's a bit different, but in any driving condition I find I'd rather have it than no ABS.
