• Wrong gear programming.

My computer is programmed for stock 3.08s and I have 3.42s. I'm definitely running the car at the track tomorrow, but the car shifts at 5k every time when it should shift at 5800. Should I shift manually to get that extra 800 rpm, or will that just hurt my time more?

Unfortunately you will not be able to just manually max out the rpm's to 5800 :(
You can pick up a hypertech unit which can be used to reprogram for gear changes and get you some more hp for quicker et's.

Good lucks tomorrow at the track guys!!

Does the jet scu fix the shift points and the top speed limiter?

The JET SCU 2000 (Speed Control Unit) interacts with the vehicle speed sensor on late model GM cars and trucks. It allows transmission shift points and speedometer calibration for vehicles where tire size or gear changes are required. It also eliminates the top speed limiter in these applications. It simply plugs in to the transmission and is adjusted with the turn of a switch.

doesn't fix shift points, believe me.

If you're right they're guilty of false advertising. I guess I'll find another way to reprogram the shift points. Thanks for the heads-up
