• Help me go from 15.19 to 15.0x with out new mods...

Thats right, after almost 3 years of owning my car Im still learning to drive it...I get faster EVERY time I go to the track, but I am setting a goal for meyself to loose .1 seconds the next time I go to the track.

Is there anything I can do to the car that is free? I have: exhaust, intake, fan switch, 180 thermo, um....and I have moved my IAT so I think my timing is a little advanced.

I will probably replace my tranny mount (i think its busted) before I go next...will that by itself do it for me?

(When i power 1-2 too hard, the stick bounces around and the car shudders...so I can't fully power shift 1 to 2)

As for broken Tranny mount, I changed mine, and it gave me .2 when I got a 1LE over my stock broken one.

Free stuff, I empty windshield washer fluid , also I discconect the 2 bolts on the bottom of the rear seat, and move it, not disconnectiong the seat belts to the trunk. Ice my motor in the staging lanes and store it in the spot where my spare tire would be, I use 2 bags, one on my Intake, and one on my uppr intake and TB. Also I pump the fornt tire pressure up a little to help with rotational friction.

You can try disconnecting the front sway, but its a little tricky to drive on but doesn't help much.

What are your 60's like? Focusing on lowering those ahve helped me the most in reducing my times.

No new mods=weight reduction. Is there anything you can take off?
I have made a lot of money in my life, most of which I spent on cars and women.<p>The rest I have blown.

Well, I already take out my passenger seat, spare/jack, CDs, empty glove box, pads from back seat.

My back seat seat back wont come out. I can get the two bottom bolts off, but the things that the seatbelts go through wont come off because one of the screws is stripped on there. It was like that when I got it.

It will come like halfway out and then stop.

Anything else? how much do headlights weigh? interior panels?

I think I managed some 2.2 with my stock 3.23s and open diffy

My torque curve was a little different though

You might beable to sqeuze a low 2.3, high 2.2, I am being conservative.

I wouldn't focus too much more on weight reduction you did the biggies.

Can't you guys put on delete belts?

              Are those free?

People have put belts on bypassing the A/C and it didnt really do anything for them. Also, I want to keep my alternator in the loop at all times.

Have you ever raced me on the highway? Oh, and last time I checked, your speed limiter is at 118mph, whereas mine is at 255mph.

I think Drag limited would be better suited

LOL well, I was just emphasizing the difference in where the computer is programmed to cut off the fuel

I'd bet that I could hit 131 (top of 3rd gear in the auto w/3.42's)... might even pick up some in 4th

i've found that when i had my open diff, launching about 2600 rpm with a little feathering helped.
i was able to cut a best of a 2.16 with an open differential.
the track was prepped decently too.
this technique sometimes works too...sit at near idle, then just mash gas and let off cluth at the same time. really hard to not get it to bog or burn out, but you could launch hellified hard if you did it right
