You could always try to remove the bumper supports? Need your A/C...if not delete it and get a 1LE A/C delete kit...if you have A/C though..sound deadening material in your car could be removed for some weight loss...put the battery in the back for better 60's...

I want the bumper supports...and I live in Texas...I would die w/o A/C. I have removed a good bit of sound deadening stuff, and moving the battery isnt cheap.1996 Firechicken
15.19@91.61
It Rocks Your Panties
Daily Driver: 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport SE
Most recent mod: Mounted an Evan on the dashboard.

Let's go. Above ~93 you will have to use 4th gear... that is 1:1 ratio... same as my third, but the kicker is that I have 3.42 final drive whereas you have 3.23... I'll have a little more torque multiplication, besides the fact that I make a little more power.
And by the way, refering to you removing your limiter, this isn't a Honda forum... you can't say "We'll if I did this I would win." Matt
2000 Firebird

FullThrottleV6.com

I don't how the 3.8 f-bods are, but I know that with my fiance's 99 3.8 Mustang it seems to run better with the recommended gas, which is 87 octane. It actaully has more pep and I got my best time out of it with that gas on snow tires, and the car is faster with normal tires.

If you can't advance the timing then I'm not sure what the benefit would be to using a higher octane... been wondering that myself lately because I use 93 octane at the track, don't know if it helps/hurts.
As for battery relocation yeah it is kind of expensive, it didn't seem to help my launches either but I can't drive, hypothetically I don't see how it could not help. 40 pounds off the nose over the wheels.
I ran into cranking problems when I had my battery in the rear, and in fear of having to replace my starter I moved it back to the stock position, but kept the extra set of cables running from the back of the car so I can move it to the back when I want to go racing.
I wish I could cut a better 60 ft as well- my times only improved about 1 tenth going from 3.08/open differential to 3.42/lsd...
about a 15.6 @ 88 w/ a 2.3 60'ft to a 15.5 @ 88 w/ a 2.3 60' ft.

I dunno, I would be at higher RPM.
Adam, we will just have to remove your bumper supports. I suggest running premium at the track. We could start up your car and then take out the battery completely. Get a short belt that bypasses all the unecessary accessories. Get the flanges you talked about put on your exhaust, and take off the catback.
