James, I just had an idea for ya, if you want to cut down a few more pounds. If your starter ever goes bad, or you just take the urge to replace it, get one of those Mini Starters from Summit racing. It might not be alot, I really have no clue on their weight, but you might wanna check it out just in case. I mean, you were taking heat shields off just to lose weight, so this might be helpful later on. Just a thought.

you got 2 other things to consider:
1. you said it youself, crappy LSD
2. also gotta remember how slippery the track was. i was getting ****ty 2.6's on my pegleg where i use to get 2.2 - 2.3's. :( my e/t was .5 sec off.

i think you'll get that #2 spot once you hit a decently prepped track.

James, so, on average, what loss in 60' did you experience and what gain in the MPH? Overall, how do you think it helped/hurt?

I went from low 1.9's (1.91) to mid/ high 1.9's (1.96's and 1.97's)

MPH went from mid 91's to high 92's

But, I finally switched from ngk tr6 nitrous plugs to a stock heat ranged plug, previous race weight w/ the 14.4 was 3080 w/o driver, this time it was 3002 w/o driver, this time I had more of a drag suspension, this time my posi is COMPLETELY worn out.

I also had problems with stalling the verter.
I could only get to 2700 rpm's, normally last season I'd get it to 3000.
I'm still learning.
There is a 14.2 in the bird, as for quicker..... maybe

As for the starter, I have already searched and there is nothing. I called summit racing and no luck, I called power master and no luck :( I guess stock will have to do

There's a picture of one.
Here's a link to what I searched for: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...rchType%3DBoth
Part Number CSI-103 is for: Starter "Mini Series" Buick V-6 231-252 Oem Flywheel 168 Tooth $239.95 B/O, there's a bit more stuff on that page. I know something's there.

Say James, don't you just wish that Magnus didn't existed, so that you wouldn't be second to him on both PA and NA.

J/K Good job! What kind of cars did you cars? Were they Japanese or German? OR Korean :D How did you do against them?

James,
Once you get the one wheel peel straightened out, I suspect that you'll run at least a few tenths faster. Good runs!!!!!!!
