• New best times N/A yet again!!!

Well, looks like I'm now holding the #2 nitrous AND #2 N/A spot now

The only differences I had from last week to this week was now BOTH nostrils on my bird are functional ram air.
Curb weight w/ lots of tools, food, and cloths was now 3000 pounds!!

I've also realized that I am now starting to grasp launching the converter MUCH better!

I was a one wheel car all day long. L/S is COMPLETELY burned out.

First run:
60....1.973
330...5.789
1/8...9.032
mph...75.23
1000..11.877
1/4...14.304 <--- new best and almost 14.2!!!
mph...92.73

2nd run
60....1.933
330...5.764
1/8...9.024
mph...74.77
1000..11.887
1/4...14.330
mph...92.11
I got a better launch but got screwed by a nasty head wind. Also temp was rising

3rd run
60....1.940
330...5.775
1/8...9.038
mph...74.78
1000..11.901
1/4...14.340
mph...92.28
Again, temp was rising

4th run
60....1.946
330...5.790
1/8...9.052
mph...74.79
1000..11.918
1/4...14.356
mph...92.35
Outside temp was even warmer

5th run
60....1.913 <---- Damn, that's a good launch huh?
330...5.775
1/8...9.041
mph...74.60
1000..11.904
1/4...14.344
mph...90.37
I was bracket racing on the 5th run and hit the brakes at the end.

I'm pretty sure now the bird has a 14.2 in it as it stands.

With the new mods that should arrive soon 14.1's???

Good job 12secv6 With your converter, do you brake torque it to a certain rpm and just floor it at the light or do you ease it to the floor? What's your technique? Also, it looks like that 3inch exhaust is helping more than hurting your times.

231 ci vs 350 ci?
My stock heads vs your vortec heads?
Your 4:10's vs my 3:23's?
Your converter vs my converter?
Your drag shocks vs my drag shocks?
Your slicks vs my drag radials?
Your ported intake vs my ported intake?
My skinnies vs your skinnies?

I'll just wait until you get your supercharger then I'll spray you!!!

You are just talking smack with your 305, 350, 396, 421 stock v8!!!

I KNOW I can't compete with a 13.8 vs my 14.3 n/a

Why not try a little power adder vs power adder???

Keith, everytime I try and submit them it never goes though :( I just sent it from work so maybe it will work this time

As for the verter, I stal it to 3000 rpm at the line, light goes green, I floor it!!!
