NO WAY you can launch at 3000 rpm, street or strip, on a stock converter, much less 4500!

I seriously have faith in these tires. Ive had 3 differnt sets and these hold unbelieveably. My LSD isnt workin so great, but like I said the yokohams I had didnt hold very well. 255x55x16, and they toyo proxies I had (245x45x16) didnt hold that well either, but they were much better than the yokohoma. The Protenzas are 245x45x16 and They hold awesome, in the rain I couldnt get the car to fish tail. ( Im known for my autocrossing in San Diego ) Thats where I get my V6love. But these would barley brake At full throttle on a sharp turn, and even then wouldnt stay spinnin in the water at 15-25 mph. For street Tires, I love'm, ( and Im not one to preach about a tire )

P.S All tires ran at daily driver PSI spec, usually from like 33psi-36 whatevers normal for the tire. I dont believe in dropping the psi cause Im a street driver, and I race and track it the same as daily driver- I cant drop the psi when Im driving so I dont at the track.

Edit : I might have a weird converter. I find lots of stock things on my car that dont match up with my friends 97 camaro. v6 Guess thats where the extra money went in 97 =) But as soon as I get a camera, I'll do some videos to show the non-believers ( I wouldnt believe me either ) on my old tires.

Weird, you have some sort of factory freak converter or something.

Anything over 3000 and i get nasty axle hop.
and my street tires always do better after a good burnout, but you really gotta burn them. dragging on street tires isnt for the cheep of wallet. either you can afford to burn them up or you cnat afford to take it to the track ;)

maybe you're not stalling it but rather spinning the tires like a mofo...either way I raise the

I don't. Hold down the brake, hit the gas and I have both wheels spinning like a mofo (rpms around 2200 or so while doing this). Even off the line I can just slam the gas and light them up til about 15mph. Oh yea that's an auto on a stock converter.

O- I can spin them from a stop without brakes if I go down 100% but not much, And I can Chirp the tires at about 40mph if I go nutral and rev it up and drop it in drive.

As I said, I had spinning problems with my other tires. These new Bridgestones are able to hold up. And with 4 wheel disk brakes, Brand new Rear calipers / rotors and pads. I think I can keep the tires from moving. not spinning. - But as I said, I wouldnt believe me either if I hadnt seen it, it freaks my friends out =)

TOTALLY, I did that once by ACCIDENT at 55mph and I actually squeeled the tires, went back and saw two skid marks about 5 feet long...now that was
