im pretty sure you will win.. if i could beat a 3.8L with my old 3.4L then you should be able too.. i mean those cars are slow.. but mostly it really depends on the driver as well.. but also once more like i say and alot of people say race him and find out you will have fun and that is the only true way you will find out your car can.. goodluckOld 2003 gt, Pullies, k&n air filter, tb and spacer, off road xpipe, catback exhaust accufab plenum, volant cai. quadrant clutch, cable, firewall adjuster, predator programmer and 180 thermo with 255/40/17 nittos on the back

Don't even worry about it. ;) Even the new 99-Up Mustang 3.8's are horrible. I have nothing on my 2002 Automatic V6 Firebird except Flowmaster exhaust, and my friend has a 2002 Automatic V6 Mustang and he has true dual magnaflow exhaust, full cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, and a computer chip; and I STILL smoked his arse! :D Have fun kickin' some Mustang butt. Oh, and to make matters worse for the Mustang crowd: that very same friend that has the V6 Mustang, went into a Mustang-specialized tuning shop over in SB because he goes to UCSB, and this tech told him straight out that Ford engineered the engine, transmission, pretty much everything horribly. I can attest to the 3.8 mustang having NO POWER WHATSOEVER. I've driven my mom's '94 since I learned to drive, and now on my 3.8 camaro there's no comparison at all.

I had a completely stock 94 camaro AT, and I managed to beat a 99 Mustang V6 with no problems. The Mustang just doesn't go.
