  • what rpm are the manuals launching at?

I'm wondering what everyone is launching at with street tires and who's launching at what with drag radials?? if anyone out there has an open diff that would really be helpful..

I went yesterday and I only got one good launch..
spun the crap outta my tires on the other 2 runs..
or my tire should I say as I don't yet have limited slip..

4000....lol but then again i have 15 inch prostars with huge nittos on em deflated to 20 psi and i do a massive burnout. Also lca's helped to eliminate wheel hop. Also i do have 410's which make it even harder to hook. Traction is great, i used to enjoy not having traction, but im glad its back, haha.

well, I know my tires are really hard because I spin all the time on the street, and I know that I need to proably deflate my tires a bit...
and the track was cold.. good air for making HP but crappy for heating up the track..

test-n-tune in 2 weeks and I can work on my technique.. can't wait till slp gets whatever it is they need to start selling takeoff LSD's again... doin the one wheel wonder sucks!..

I usually did like they said from 2500-3000 on street tires. Now with the nittos and a stout clutch, I have hooked all motor on almost a 4000rpm drop!
