    so i get to the track. i put the skinnies and slicks on... weather is nice, but there is a 15mph crosswind :mad:

    so i run a 14.5 n/a and i'm like ok cool..

    put the 75 shot jet in run a 13.4. ;)

    100shot jets, i run a 13.097@104 [img]graemlins/evilgrin.gif[/img] getting better.i hot lap it and run a 13.067 and i'm like f--- this...

    hotlap it again and this time i spary out of the hole..

    1.7..60ft..
    8.1@82.22...1/8 mile
    12.923@103mph
    [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img] ..

    so there it is.. i got a bunch of pics too...

    also at 6100 i'm getting massive valve float on the bottle.. it like someone is turning my car off, then when i shift it starts pulling like a mother again... so with new springs and pushrods i' feel a 12.5 or better is there..

    also i was spinning the first 330 feet like you wouldn't believe.. my car almost went sideways.. so with some ET streets and new valve train i'm hoping to hit 12.5's or better in 2 weeks...

    also with the cut-out open i gained 3mph [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img]

    i was getting props from everyone there..it was a blast.. also this was on stock manifolds, heads, intakes and throttle body. i also have a full tank of gas(12 gals) and the front sway bar was still on [img]graemlins/evilgrin.gif[/img] ..
    in 2 weeks i'll have much better times.. tank you all for your support, MAN DOES THIS FEEL GOOD!!!!!

      awesome [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] that is very impressive, if your heads were ported polished and you had headers you would most likely knock a couple tenths off congrats mike

                CONGRATS DUDE! i knew youd hit 12's.

                btw...where did you ger this theory from? If you had any kinda valve float youd be losing massive power, you would not have run like you did if you had any kinda float.

                  zach, when my car hits 6100 on the bottle, it's like the motor is off, for real, then my car shifts at 6300 and when it drops back down to 4500 it's pulling like a mother again

                    WOw Mike that's awesome!! What was your ET before the cam? Did you do any kind of weight reduction? Sound like you have alot of room for improvement.

                    I think by this year we should have 4 more in the 12's and one in the 11...ahem, James.

                              thanks for all the feedback.. this cam is crazy on the bottle, i just need to get the topend worked out.. expect much better times from the camaro.. :D ;)
