So not that much because the gears are what basically helped you out ?

I'd say gears were worth .1...

but the faster you go, the harder it is to gain.. So I figure from a 13.9 NA to a 13.6 NA is a pretty damn good improvement.

You aint shi**ing. I would love to run that. I am hoping that I will run 13's with 85 dry/headers/intake/2.5 catback/P&P SSM heads

but how about from a totally stock engine.

                5speed.

going from stock. running normal 1/4 mile times at sea level.

to SSM package, full exhaust and cold air intake. LSD with 3.42 gears.

should i pick up at least a little over a second in the quarter mile?

im saving up for all these mods at once

a COMP cam will help out a bit more than a crower regrind.

A good heads/cam setup will be worth ~ .5 and 5mph. With 2 less cylinders than a V8, the gains aren't as large as you see with the LS1's. :(

You will let us know how great the gains are with the cam/head combo on the LS1 right

Cam, yes.. heads... no.. not unless I begin to spend money like its water again.

I will have a cam only car that makes over 400rwhp though and hopefully runs 10's NA. ;)

NA only.. I am an NA king. I think it takes much more skill and precision to make an NA car go fast.
