well the best I ran was a 16.044 with a 2.3 something 60' with a trap speed of 86. I have an auto with open 3.08 rear. Will the slp cai and gears bring me close to a 14? I might even go with 3.73's cause that 16 sec run sucks. Any help or pointers?

I think with 3.42's w/ LSD and you'll be under 15.5's.
I don't remember seeing your car at the track Friday.
I saw someone in a 97 Green RS. He said he wasn't on here much but mainly on cz28 and fbody.com...*MATT*
98 Camaro SS #1767 A4
Artic White
Not stock...
Former car:
96 Firebird Y87 A4
Bright Red
Wasn\'t stock...

Thats really not bad for a car with your mods, infact it's pretty *gasp* average. I ran a 16.2 with similar mods except no full exhaust. good slips cost money, gears and cai will definitly help.97 White Pontiac Firebird 3.8 A4
Mods- 2.75\" exhaust, Dynomax muffler, magnaflow cat, SLP CAI, Hypertech 160* thermo, Fan switch
Suspension-Kumho Ecsta 712\'s, 32mm/19mm sway bars

Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don\'t fail us now.
-Elwood Blues

At this point you're kinda pissing in the wind. I think there is alot more in the car with some practice. It actually takes some skill to drive well. Don't just throw parts at a car, you'll end up wasting alot of money. Think about what your personal goals are, and plan accordingly. First of all, do some basic maintainence. Change the plugs and wires, the fuel filter, put a clean airfilter in. That right there should help you pick up some MPH for under $50.www.fullthrottlev6.com
www.chitownracing.com

the car only has 41,000 miles on it so nothing needs changing plus I have a K&N Filter. My R/T could be better but I really don't know what else. How are people running mid 15's stock? Does higher octane help? I will also no have all my fire gear or sub box in next time I run so maybe I will see a high 15. Thanks guys. Practice in my M5 took me from a first ever run of 16.2 to a current best of 15.2 and consistant 15.3 and less.
You need cooling, you need gears, you need LSD, and you need PRACTICE. Just keep at it, and it will come. I recommend a fan switch if you dont already have one too 2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

I probaly spun because I didn't want to do a burnout with my 18's. I had my 18's on and my firegear in the car ( I had no choice) When I raced, I am going next friday with no box, gear and my rear 16's on so hopefully a high 15. I thought a 2.3 60' was good for stock.2005 Cavalier LS Sport M5
http://members.cardomain.com/firefighter8615
