Well after last weeks misfortune, I decided at the last minute to go to the track and give it another shot. At 27 psi, a 1/4 tank a gas, filter and MAF screen out. My second run, I launched at around 1300 rpms and dead hooked and that did wonders:
RT: .672
60FT: 2.037
330FT: 6.106
1/8 ET: 9.477
1/8 MPH: 73.27
1/4 MPH: 14.894 (New Best)
1/4 MPH: 90.38 (New Best)

So the 3" I pipe and the flowmaster didn't hurt me after all.

Good to hear the new exhaust setup helped instead of hurt like you initially questioned !

good job!

It didn't hurt ya, but it didn't help ya either! No two hundreth's of a second isn't really a help...more like luck (e.g. wind differences)

Maybe you're right, but we at least know it don't hurt 1/4 times. That's a big relief for me. Also, the wind was against us yesterday.

Firefighter, my whisper lid stayed intact. I just removed the air filter. The MAF screen was already removed. Thanx again everybody. ;)
