Hey Camarorulz! A gallon of gas weighs a little over 6lbs. About 6.5 lbs. Our cars (2000-2002 models) have 16 gallon tanks so you figure a 1/4 tank of gas is roughly 4 gallons. Figure about 24lbs of gas. Give or take. Hope this helps.

BTW, the tanks are 16.8 gallons.
