i think you should be launching higher. how high depends on the traction. it would definitely lower your 60'. i think 2.7K launch on LSD is on the low side even in a poorly prepped track. do not shift to 4th gear. run out 3rd.

HE is right your mph is slow...

What is killing you is your exhaust, find a way to open it up, bigger i-pipe, or even something better, stock exhaust is really restrictive, with similar exhasut as you and my setup I never really beat a 16.2, of course I did not have a cam.

REally open up your exhasut that is where I showed the most improvement. Want a ghetto tip? Take off your CAT, and put a thrush muffler from advanced auto parts there, 2.5in. in and out. Just move the rest of your catback out of the way. I gurantee you will see a huge gain. Any pics of your intake? The real restrictive part to eliminate on the stock intake is the part between the abs unit and the radiator.

As for tire pressure I don;t really see a need to go below 30 psi, I usually run 32ish, whats wierd is my best 60' was under 40 psi. But track prep was real nice that day.

mph too low coz he hit 4th when he should have run out 3rd.

With my 3.42s and 5-speed, I hit 4th gear every run, even with tuning problems at SLP day Orlando when I was traping 82 mph and running 16.2-.4s.

With my stock 3.23s I never really hit 4th, maybe on a messed up run.

i just found my other slips from my other 2 runs from earlier in the night and i had a 2.416 and a 2.433 60' times. the 16.6 was my was my last run. track prep was getting worse. kinda wierd i ran a 16.7 @ 82.18 not hitting 4th and i had a 2.433 60' time...faster mph and 60' time but slower run. looks like i lost the time from 60'-330

so u guys think the stock 2 1/4 in. pipe is to small.

lol im an idiot for some reason i though i had a 2.6 60' time instead of 2.3. the 2.4 was from launching at 3 grand or higher.

I still think you should get it down to a 2.1 at least, maybe a 2.0, I hit those pretty consistently but I may be putting out more power then you.
