First time at track

Hello

I'd like to introduce myself, My name is Luke, im 20 and I live in Fort Pierce, FL. Ive had my car for about a year (info in sig.) but have just discovered this site. Also I went to the track for the first time a week or so ago (Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm).

Only got to run 3 times but here are the numbers of my best.

R/T .709
60' 2.331
330 6.638
1/8 10.236
MPH 67.94
1000 13.334
1/4 15.926
MPH 87.41

R/T needs a little work although i understand it doesn't affect the 1/4 time.

I suppose around there is what i should expect with my mods, keep in mind this was my first time at the track. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

I'm pretty sure we pass by Ft. Pierce on the way to Disney, but that's about as close as I can pinpoint it. Either way, glad you're here. Join the group next time we go prowling, it makes a nice picture for that many F-bodies running together.

That sounds good, you guys let me know the next time you hit the track, I'd like to try somewhere other than Moroso. Where do you usually run, Miami?

I am up in orlando going to UCF but am form ft. lauderdale.

Morrosso has gone downhill I heard, I haven't been there in like 4 years. not sure I think there are a few places north of you. Fort Pierce(At the I-95, turnpike junction) is roughly 1.5 hours form Orlando Speed World, where I run which might be closer then Miami, I am not quite sure where brandenton is.

Yeah I've been to Orlando Speed World but never raced. Brandenten is across the state near Sarasota. I will be going to FSU in August so I'll have to find one out that way.

I just go to school down here. I live in Boynton so I go to Moroso. It's not the best track at all but it's the only one we have.

Orlando Speed World sucks too. I've heard best about Bradenton.

But like stated before its all we have...

Morrosso seemed ok back in the day but I had an automatic 2.8L at the time, track prep wasn't hurting me, could have been oil and i would not have had a problem.
