• Track times tonight SUCK BALLS!

Okay so last week my times were absolutely incredible for me. 15.4 @ 90 with a 2.2 60' well anyway tonigh my best was a 15.6 OMG! I cannot believe it, I am very PISSED! well anyways, MY BEST 60' tonight a 2.3 and my worst 2.5. I think what may have done it was my plugs. I was going to change the plugs today but only got one done because I have never done plugs on my car yet. I used Botsch Platnium 2's in hole 1 and never could figure out how to get to the others with a spark plug socket. Well anyways im shytee.

I did get complements from 2 SS owners and a Z-28 owner.
They thought that they could tell me stuff about my 6  but anyways they were cool. One guy said you know they make 1.6 rockers for this  I corrected him and told him they were 1.8's however they wouldnt work with the cam im putting in this summer. When I told him my plans about running 12s with heads cam nitrous he was in shock. He told me that he could tell it wasnt a 8 but he said it ran a good time, cause I totally owned this 80's grand prix with cam and other goodies.

Also this black guy with a black 98+ RS? It had the body kit and stripes but who knows? I know they only made a RS in 2002 but I didnt see any badges. Anyways I talked to him breifly and I asked what his best time was and he told me
13.8 ! I was like WOW, well then I asked him what he had done to it and he said nothing, just 3k in suspension. Im weary one calling the flag on him but it didnt even have and exhaust.
Anyone else got input on this?

I would call too, there's no way he could run 13.8 with just suspension mods.

Exactly, Not unless GM accidently dropped in a 5.7 instead of a 3.8 and nobody caught the mistake ;) .

Well, all in all you shouldn't be too disappointed. I mean consider the negative post in the Lounge (people being bashed for their v6's), you did get compliments by a couple of V8 owners and a couple of kills.

As far as low times, they's always next time.

BTW (i think I'd rather stuff my head in a shotglass than change out the plugs , maybe they won't be that bad... or get a shop to do it...nah)

Why didn't you ask me to help you change those plugs? You know it takes me like no time and I know the tricks around the motor to get them off. Plus, you have headers, so it'd be even easier.

Speaking of headers, did you get that leak fixed?

I dont know your schedual plus your on the eastside. Also the headers are still leaking and will continue to til' I get my cam/head installed. Hey do you know anything about taking apart our engines and installing cams/heads?
