  • can i hit 14's?

as some of you know, the last time i was at the track this year i ran a best of 15.1 @ 92.

the only mod i had then was a muffler.

Since then ive done free mods such as descreen the maf, cut the bottom of the airbox, and remove the air baffle (or air silencer, whichever you prefer.)

When i ran last time i only stalled it up at around 1200. Im goin saturday.

Can i get into the 14's with those free mods and stalling the converter up a little higher?

    traction shouldnt be a problem.

So any suggestions? Are 14's doable?

Hmmm..I'll get back to you either tomorrow or Friday. I'm headed off to work now. I have never been to Byron before. I go to Great Lakes. How much is it to race/watch there?

14's are doable on a good run depending on temp......try and stall a little bit higher for the first couple of times until you get some traction problems.....free mods may help some to get you over the edge.

the only problem with my car is that once i make a few runs, no matter how much better my 60' get i will always slow down up top....

so i have to pull my best time in my first three or four runs, otherwise im going to be a couple tenths slower, my car is weird.

                          92 mph trap speed...
that's better than a lot of automatics trap.
i'd say you got at least high 14's in it.
