  • I made it into the 14s!!

Back from AIS and the when the 2events were done they opened up for a few 1/4 miles passes.

1st time out for the 1/4 mile pass and here is how my car did
    r/t .175
    60' 2.13
    1/4 14.85
    mph 91.5

my new best from 15.1 and that was with the stock cat and i-pipe with an open cutout. Then only mod i did since then was 3inch catco cat with a 3inch i-pipe to a flowmaster 80.

my 2nd run with some wheel hop off the line

    r/t .387
    60' 2.16
    1/4 14.94
    mph 91.5

3rd run with the same wheel hop

    r/t .152
    60' 2.19
    1/4 15.01
    mph 90.9

I am very proud of my car, she is running really strong. I think i have the fastest 02 F-body here.

Does your American thunder have the resonator with it? I was just wondering, someone said it might be restrictive but I guess that would definately be wrong if you're running 14's

i had it.. and no. its not too restrictive. you wouldnt even notice a difference with the resonator there. just sound difference up top

            edit: GREAT TIMES!

Good pull What exhaust were you running prior to AIS?

As we can see 3" Definitely helped!

Man for the mods you have that time is unreal! I am very impressed with your car. Did you ever run it bone stock or very close too it? What were your times? Any weight reduction?

No weight reduction, ran at AIS with everything in my car including spare tire and half tank of gas.

:D ;) Never ran my car bone stock, but when i just had the Ravin muffler, home made CAI, aceel air filter and removed air silencer, i ran constat 15.3s nad whn i opened the cutout i ran 15.1. MPH of both times were at 88, so i know i gained quite a bit up top.
