At which RPM do you shift?
For everyday use?
For 1/4?
Which RPM for the launch?

With my 2000 Camaro, I would shift just shy of the redline (at about 5800 or so) and launch as high as I could without spinning.

For everyday use, it depended on the mood I was in. Usually I would shift somewhere between 2500 and 3500.

I usually do most of my acceleration in 2nd gear. If I'm feeling like I want speed, I'll hold it in 2nd up until about 5600. At that point I'm doing 50 so I go straight to 4th and then 5th to cruize.

If I were on a track I'd just want to shift near redline in every gear.

i shift about 2000-2500 everyday driving, it made my gas mileage great compared to shifting at 2500-3000....depending on track conditions i leave the line at 2500-3000 or high as i can go w/o spinning too bad, i shift around 5500 cuz it feels like it stops pulling by about 5200

Werd, my gas milage went up about 3 points shifting under 3k.

I launch at about 2000-2500, it's about as high as I can without spinning a lot.

At the track, I'll launch mine as high as I can w/o moving, on the road when I want to be a jack *** , I'll shift at 56-5800 1-2 and then go straight to 5th, normal about 25-3000.

At which RPM do you shift?

For everyday use = 2200-3500RPM 95% of the time
For 1/4 = almost touching the revlimiter
Which RPM for the launch = Depends on track conditions but maybe 3,000? I should look more often

everyday driving 2k-3k

1/4 - as fast as I can when I see the yellow light come on.... 5900+(shiftlight is set at 5800)
With the stock 3.23's I can see it then shift.
But with 3.73's I basically have to shift as soon as it lights up, except 3-4 shift. On the 3-4 shift I have to see it then shift.
