• Slicks on, many other parts going on. Time Estimates???

Alright, last time out all I could must was a 14.7 on an 85 shot and a bad clutch. Read Here.

Since then I have put in (or will in a week):
1)Centerforce Dual friction clutch
2)an LS1 aluminum driveshaft
3)275/50R15 Nitto 555Rs
4)Lightweight Weld wheels with skinnies.
5)SLP Line Locks
6)Pacesetter Headers
7)Harlan window switch (So I can spray in first safetly) Never sprayed off the line yet.
8)100 Shot Jets.

Any guesses. I am excited for this trip. The weather is up around 100-110 now. Elevation is just over 3000ft, humidity depends on the day.

i'm guessing a 13.5 due to your elevation.

Sweet. I am hoping to break into the 13s. 13.5 would be awesome. Anyone else?

EDIT - I forgot to say, before slicks and skinnies on the welds, I was running heavy 17 inch wheels. And before the alum. DS, I have a 2 peice.

Depending on track conditions and since u are using a dry shot. I would say make a couple of practice runs not really worrying about times to see how the track is hooking and then let the car sit almost all night for one maybe 2 final passes when it gets alittle colder at night. If you can bring some ice for the intake. You really want that intake charge down as much as possible. How do u launch. I am only used to spraying on my automatic with a TQ converter whice with a 50 shot i pull a 13.7. But i think for sure you should be able to get in the 13's if you can hook and you take out any unnessary wweight in the car.

I saw 14s....

YOu are changing alot of things and I think it will take some time to get things going how you want.

Clutch is going to make it harder to launch but will firm up your shifts, and from what I here its kind hard to get the tires to hook how you want them too. If I were you I woudl just stick with the 85 shot, at least you knwo the feel for the power you have...

And aren't you supposed to break in Centerforce dual friciton clutches?

I think 13s are very doable, just gonna take a few trips to get used to the setup, you are changing some things the will affect your laucnh alot.

i'd say a low 14...7 tenths is a really big gain and i dont think even with the 100 shot u'll do it...good luck though!

What did your full timeslip on the 14.7 run look like?

I think nittos and spraying out of the hole now should net you a pretty good gain I think you'll be close to a 13 on the 85 shot depending on your 60' on the 14.7 run!

If you read the post I put in the first post here about the bad clutch, it says the full timeslip. The first one I ran a 14.7 the second, all of my times were at least 2 tenths faster until after the 1000ft where my clutch slipped BAD, and I juse let off of it. a 14.5 or even a 14.4 was estimated. Not spraying until the VERY end of first. No headers, no lightweight wheels or drivshaft.
