If you have an A4, can you get better launches by stalling at 2100? Or is it better to just mash into it when the 3rd yellow goes on?

what I do for a launch (this is just street racing though) rev to bout 2.5-3k...drop the clutch, tires will spin but right before they hook floor it...not the best way but still a pretty good one

You'll definately get a better launch if you stall it up. As long as you don't blaze the tires

I've discovered that with my converter, a stall launch keeps traction a lot better than mashing the gas. Flashing it (just mashing the gas) gives me a lot of spinning/wheelhop.

Maybe with a 3.4 but you try to do that with a M5 3.8 and it just keeps spinnin.

                I used to launch my 3.4L ~4,000 rpms and I launch my 3.8L 3000-3500
