Pathetic Runs

[Pewter99Camaro]

I took my car to the track for the first time in about a year. Horrible. My best time was a 10.4...in the 1/8. A year ago, I had it down to 10 flat. And the worst part, 1st run against a Honda Civic, lost because I hit the rev limiter going into 2nd...I almost cried. Lost 3 out of 5. :mad: :eek: Also, 2nd gear took me nowhere. Could this be because I hollowed out my cat and didn't clear the code while I was there and haven't gotten an o2 sim?

Bingo, when your computer thinks the cat isn't working, it puts your car in limp mode, and you loose power.

Pretty much, seocnd O2 was getting crazy readings causig you to run like *** .... That and might have been hot, where id you race at? seems like its been raining all over the state recently so lots of standing water and humidity.

Sunshine Dragstrip in Largo. It was pretty nasty out all day here in Port Richey too, but around 6:00 i said screw it, Im going. It was hotter than $#!+ out too, but I almost cried when I lost a Cavalier. The Civic was understandable because he was pulling on me, but when I hit the rev limiter, forget about it...
