Do you guys leave it on, or turn it off before a drag race. I left it off the other day, and spun my tires for about 10 feet. When I leave it on, it squeaks a little, but doesn't burn em out.

I turn mine off. I seem to get better times with the ASR off. Leaving it on may keep you from spinning your tires, but to do this, the computer controls the amount of fuel that goes to the engine, this reducing power making your tires to quit spinning. What you need to do is find a good take of RPM, sounds like your reving to high before you leave the line. Also, you may want to if you don't already have, some better tires, LSD, and do some suspension work.2000 V6 Camaro(bought brand new)

doesn't it work by hitting the brakes? So in relaity you are using your brakes ina a drag race, seems kinda counter productive, jsut keep practicing a laucnh will come.Comment
