try and get some non-touring/passenger car tires... that will help first off.

255/25's? What the hell do you have ... 19's?
Must be 225 / 55's. But word on getting good tires.

Simple I know, but are you popping the clutch off the floor?

Try letting the clutch out JUST to where she wants to roll, push it in a smidge to where it doesnt, and launch from that point. Don't launch the car from the floor.

yes you let it out slowly. "feather" its a feel of how slowly you should let it go. its not just drop the clutch and ride that creates spin and bounce which creates slow times. control the power with the clutch thats the hole idea of having a stick shift!
