      Why are you trashing shirl?

She is stating her expereinces and results. No need to trash her and Batman's supercharger? You mean the one that should have been done in like 2 weeks that took what like a year to come out. And on top of the had a crapload more money put into the initial design of it?

Eihter way back to the initial post I say give it more time even before you start buing tires and lcas, and sorry I do not think yu need drag radials till you are well into the 14s. jsut keep practicing.

        Constructive criticism people..

        I ran a PI with the V6.. With the LS1 I'm running a yank Pro Thuster 4400..

I don't believe Mike just takes a stock converter and "jimmy rigs" it.. What they do if I can recall correctly is take a new converter bought from GM, open it up, and give it new internals and better "stuff".. and there isn't anything wrong with that. Most companies do the same thing. Yank does put better "stuff" in there though.

It's quite possible Shirl had timing issues with the verter and the blower. It's a very good chance. Who else do we know on this board running a blown V6 with a big stall. Nobody that I can think of. It's becoming more apparant that high stall's and the V6 PCM don't mix timing wise. Knock retard city.

I've driven a V6 with a yank 2800 stall. It's very mild.. Won't be worth THAT much at the track, just a little bit.. Perhaps .3

i don't believe going back to a stock stall is the answer.. GIve the stall some more tries, and HOOK the car.. Also try to launch differently. The more I learn about yanks the more I find that they like to be stalled up pretty high like James has been saying for quite some time. PI's on the other hand like to be flashed from low RPM's.. quite interesting.
