Well, i went to the track and made three runs all at 16.9 sec. My reactions were .9 consistently. How can i drop a full sec? By getting better reaction times? Also my SES light came on on the way out, and when i got there it turned off? What kinda mods can i do that are cheap to drop my times down.

Your reaction time has nothing to do with your 1/4 mile E/T. As far as cheap mods to drop your times..none..you are going to have to spend a good amount of money to see big improvements in time. Weather could have been a factor to..what was it like? What were your trap speeds in the 1/4? What were your 1/8 times? Post the slips.

The best thing to do is work on your 60' times. Especially if you are an A4. LSD will help a lot with that. Also you can lighten your car.

Don't feel bad, last time I went to the track there was a 3.4 running 17-18 second 1/4 mile times. Of course he was a stock A4 w/ a muffler.

Also if it makes you feel any better I took my trans am to the track for the first time, well with me driving, and ran a 15.1.
