Roll though the water box.
rev to like 3K+ and drop the clutch.
keep the revs as high as possible w/o continuely bouncing the rev limiter
once the car(The car pretty much wants to move forward the whole time) starts really catching pretty good put in the clutch and take it out of gear and get on the brake so you don't roll through the line
then stage
You only have one attempt at burnning out using this method. if you screw up and try to burn out again, the tires will catch and your traction at launch is wasted. I drive to the track with them on my car and then it usually takes 3-5 runs b/f they really start getting sticky.

I start out at 24-25, and I have not ventured lower than 22. Though I heard ppl say like 14-16 is ideal. I just never wanted to run that low.

Alternatively you may want to go around the water box, then back into it so only the rear tires get wet, and you don't trail water up to the line with the front wheels.
