Ok...havent tried this at the track yet and im definatly going this weekend. Tonight coming home from work, i thought id work on my launches a little. When i stall my car anywhere from 1800 to 2300 and take-off, I get no wheelspin. But, when I take off from a dead idle, I get a good bit of wheelspin and seem to pick up quicker. Any reason as to why this might be? I figured that by stalling your car, your just taking off closer to where your powers at...around 2800-4500 it seems in my car. Im just really confused by this. More wheel spin from a dead idle than by stalling.....that dosent seem right. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a high-stall converter and that happens. I get more spin when I step on it from idle than when I stall from 2500. You will get a better launch when you stall it though.-Eric
2002 Navy Blue Camaro...Striped and Stalled. 35th Anniversary SS wheels
Best ET: 15.384 @ 88.32 on street tires
Project Whitney: Goal, 14.0 1/4 by summer 2008.
