Hi, I have not been to the track but I have been studying the times people get with the stock 3.23 gearing (5 speed). It seems that people's trap speeds are between 85-90 mph. My 3rd gear redlines at about 85-90. Are you able to get through the 1/4 without shifting into 4th?

I don't have a 5 speed but I'm pretty sure you can take 3rd all the way to 93 before you hit the limiter so yes you probably can! -

The time in my sig was on my stock 3.23 open differential rear-end...stock except for the lid, and I didn't leave 3rd. Should be fine in 3rd to about 95....but that's just because you might lose a little time after ****ing into 4th since you won't have any time left to run in it. Stay in 3rd, I used to make it to 91 no problem in 3rd.
