  • Racing with a auto

    im going to go to a 1/8 mile track this friday and want to know what id run with mods in sig. also how should i get my tires heated.(cant really burn out with auto) any other misc. info would be great

    why not? Hold the brake down, and press the gas with your other foot..tires will start spinning and you will smoke your tire(s)

      not necessarily, my auto wouldn't spin the tires with 3.08s.

        why not i got my tired to spin with auto and 3.08 gears done it a few times just takes a lil more gas to get them spinning :D

          Brake and gas. Lots of gas if you have LSD. Then enjoy the smoke, smell, hopefully a better launch, and maybe start concidering your next set of tires. :D

            If you can run a 10.0 or better, you're in the good zone for near stock.

                you dont need to smoke your tires unless you have Dr's ok. Just "spin them really quick" to get anything off them that might interfer...

                    k, im goin to the dragstrip soon and it will be my first time ever and my cousin has been talking sh*t to me bout my bird and wants to race me. i should be able to beat him right? he's in a 5 speed 99 eclipse RS.(140hp)

                    so far the only mods i have are slp loudmouth catback, he is stock.

                        You will beat him pretty good. I ran a modded 00' GS and had him by a few lengths.
