  • Sick Sixx at the track, MAD times YO!

Brought over from the sick sixx forum for all to see.

So, heres the scene, import night at HRP: fart cans, body decals, neons, stock front wheels and bling bling rims out back, and colored tint as far as the eye can see. Only 4 and 6 cyls allowed. The format is pretty cool cause you get to rip on escorts and (most) of the civics all night. And everybody there thinks your car is mean cause its RWD and looks like a sports car. I overheard a couple people whispering about Tiago and I as we did back to back to back runs.

Ill let everybody post their own woes or successes. I myself had about 15 passes, most of them hot lapped, and came out with an amazing 15.4 at 90 as a best.... Car felt like it weighed 8,000 lbs and didnt wanna move at all. Ripped on a couple imports, even ran a Maxima that ran a 25 to my 15, hahaha. There was toyota truck that was a POS that kept wanting me to run him, but at 20psi he got me once and I got him once too. His truck was running 13.9... so he must have missed a shift.

Then they had grudge match where you line up heads up with anyone you want (or randomly) and run one time down the track for a trophy. Not a bad idea, ricers need eye candy like that. I wanted to run a ricer, but unfortunately i had to run Tiago..... I got his *** off the line at least, then I watched him go by and checked out his time in the lights before I even finished. In the words of Brain Spillner "Dude, I almost had you".....

Heh, times sucked but it had been such a long time since I went to the track.... Im thinking not going back till the heat and humidity go down. It had just rained today so the heat and humidity were coming up from the ground in that evil way you only know about in Texas, but the track was pretty damn sticky, especially since all the FWD imports dont mess it up where i need traction. It was good to have the club out there representing and rippin on some ricers. They were all kinda scared of the F-bodys and were impressed for some reason?? They had one or two quick 14 second turbo and supercharged Hondas, and a 300ZX that ran a 13.5 I believe, even though he ran a 14.2 when I ran him, so I dunno what they were impressed about. Then again as Jeff said, when you run 17's all day a 15 looks fast as hell.

A high stall automatic would own tiago you would for sure put down some puckin bad a$$ times then. I am ready when u are. I will help you look for an automatic and pcm for ya. Deffentily want to add a shift kit and high stall somethihng in the 3600-3800 stall range.

I myself with only 400 miles since my motor swap of another v6 that wehn ran in the other car was a dog running 15.0-14.8 in perfect weather was running 14.62 all night trapping at 91-92mph with 1.9 60 foots If i wasnt hottlapin to run all the ricers i could of had a 14.5 out of her for sure. I am pleased with this motor considereing it was very hot and humid i was sweating all night long.

Not all 3.8's are going to perform exactly the same. How many people run the same time with the same mods and same driving abilities?? Not very many.
