HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!! OK guys I really did go 9.82 in the 1/4 letting off about 200ft before the finish but it wasn't with my V6. I just wanted to see how many of you would be like...WHAT?!?!?! I ran my '69 camaro with the 502ci (93 octane 9.6:1 compression 502). I ran out of gear before the end that's why I let out. I was at 7000 bouncing off the chip and just well time to let out and coasted to the finish in gear. Well, that's about it I'm very happy with the way the car ran last night considering the car had a lot of tire shake (bad track prep) and the weather stunk! I mean it was 88% humidity. Now I'll just see how many people I catch when they think I went that past with the V6 silver bullit.

Tire shake on a 500 horse 9-second car. That's a good one.

Tire slip, sure.

Tire shake... well I can think of 3 words. NOT PRO MOD!

disregard this edit:
Lucky for you it only costs $8.99 at AutoZone for a gasket and a new filter. Deutsch PN TF320

If you did have eight billion dollars to get it fixed right,
you'd have seven billion,
nine hundred ninety-nine million,
nine hundred ninety-nine thousand,
nine hundred ninety-one dollars,
and one cent left over.

With your 7 billion dollars left over, don't forget to pick up about 6 quarts of Dexron III tranny fluid.

Oh so you think its BS? OK I'll tell you what why don't you take your A$$ down here and race me RedbirdV6? This is a fully NHRA certified tube chassis, the nose, doors, hood, and rear trunk lid are fiber glass, and the car only weighs in at 2700lbs. The engine is a GM Performance Parts ZZ502 crate motor with a custom cam, new Edelbrock 454-O intake, a 1050 dominator carb, and a few racing tricks. I have 32x14.5x15 Goodyear slicks, a powerglide with a 4500 stall, and 4.88 gears out back. I hope to soon have the 4.56s in there soon so I can finish the track under WOT. All I'm saying is don't call BS before you know all the facts and I don't bull **** people about the times I run! I have no reason to do that. As I said before come down to Orlando Speed World and I'll show you how wrong you are. Also let me say it again I don't mean to jump on your case. But I can't stand it when people call BS before they even know all the facts. This isn't a little stock 1969 SS Camaro by any means!

You have any pics of the 69 Camaro?

BTW..I have a feeling I know why RedbirdV6 is calling BS. It may have been just a typo?

I saw a blue SS when I was coming out of a bank. At first I felt the ground rumbling with vibration and this car parking. He had slicks on big tires and the whole thing with a root blower sticking way to high. When he turned off his car, I can hear birds chirping again :D

That's an awesome time. Got any pics?

Hahahaha!!! Camaro_SLP you are very correct there man and I'm sorry if I confused anyone by stating what happened like I did. No, I did not let off at the 200ft mark. I let out about200ft before the finish line. That is why I said in the title that I let out just after the 1000ft mark. I mean you only have 320ft left and at the speed I was traveling at I know I covered a lot of ground. But my estimation was that I still had about 200ft left before the finish. I say this because a friend of mine said that he saw my last run and it looked like I let out right at the 1000ft mark. So I assume that at the angle he was a he might have been a little off so that's why I said I let out just past the 1000ft mark at about 200ft before the finish. Plus the finish was a good little distance away from me still that I could see when I let out. I appoligize RedbirdV6 if that is why you called BS or was confused by the way I stated myself. Oh and about the pics of the car. I have a friend of mine that has a web site that I will soon have the pics up on of the 1969. All I am waiting for is for him to have the time to add them and I would like to get some pics of it launching off the line and maybe a burnout shot. I'll let you all know as soon as there are up and I will provide a link.

u should get smaller gears, or taller tires to get some more top end. What kinda gears do u have in that thing? do u have DFI on it? that might get u another 40-50 hp.
