I am going to the drags on saturday night and I just wanted some tips on power braking, I have a very good idea in which to do it but I am not sure what RPM to bring it up to or what. Any other help would be great! Thanks Kevin

I'd say around 1800 to 2000. If there are any completely empty parking lots or streets near you, go out and practice what works the best. You should be able to pull a 2.3 60'.

Bring it up to 5 grand just kidding.. about 2,000rpm or a little higher, if you can do it without breaking the rear tires loose.. good luck, let us know how ya do!

What he said, but i think you can do better than a 2.3 60', i could pull 2.1's bone stock(with good grip)

Go out and practice on a deserted street, as said above. The track will probably help your tires grip better than the regular roads, but bring it up as high as you can without breaking the tires loose.

Same here, until I got 3.42s, lsd, and a 3000 stall converter. I had 3.08s, open differential with the 1800 stall converter, it sucks for low end. You might want to invest in a new torque converter and get some gears/lsd.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
