  • chirping third?

    anyone got any techniques or anything so i may be able to chirp third? Ive got a 3.23 open end....is it even possible?
    SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

      It is possible. I've done it. Its easier to chirp an open diff than a limited slip diff too.

        Once upon a time I could chirp third. High rpm's and very fast shift. I have a LSD now...those days are long gone.

          power shift it. i can chirp third on occasion when my engine is cold. never let go of the gas when u shift. just dont mis the gear.. it can be embarassing :D

            have done it twice
            once open rear, once LSD powered.

            dunno how :D

              ive done it w/and w/o an LSD, just shift fast as hell, on a good prepped track its really hard to do but on a crappy one its a lot easier, i cant ever tell if i spin goin to 3rd on the street cuz my tires dont chirp, they just spin
