You should bracket race with #s like that.

Do you drive your car to work everyday?

Damn James, I run the same mph as you do and we're both on 3.23 gearing... I wonder if I can hit those ETs if I can just get out of the hole

Impressive weight though

well, if you can get out of the hole like an auto, your trap speed will go down a little, but you'll run like a mofo... ;)

Out of criosusity James what major things 50+ lbs. did you remove.

I managed a 3020 weight without me ith jsut the seats and carpet pulled. I wonder if I did some other major stuff if 2800 was doable.

Whats the front sway weigh 20?
Bumper supports? Anything else?

My radio is out(not by choice got stolen), so I saved some wieght there ;)

Well, I'm not sure how much it weighs, but you may want to consider removing the A/C..that will free up some weight. And did you take out the passenger seat too, or just the rear seats? And the obvious, spare tire and jack. And finally of course, removing the owners manual reduces about 45 pounds.

The car is a lethal bracket racer.

Daily driver now

I still plan on doing air bag delete, light weight front brakes, grinding down some metal parts etc

Front sway and endlinks are 12.5 lbs
front and rear bumper supports are 45 lbs

It isn't one big weight reduction... a combination of many things get it down to such a light weight.

If I removed many of my thicker and heavier traction devices I could be lighter.

I think in N/A condition I will come VERY close to 2899 lbs

56 lbs to go :D
