  • Why is it So Slow

Well went to the track last night, here is my best run:
    60ft.....2.5
    1/4mi....16.2
    mph......85
I know my 60ft needs work but that was the best I could do and i wasn't spinning, this was launching at 1800. BTW this is in a 97 non y87 bird, basically stock.
For a comparision my friend in a 98 y87 ran:
    60ft.....2.3
    1/4mi....16.1
    mph......83
So i have no idea why i would have a higher mph than him with a slower time besides the 60ft. I also wieghed in at 3300 without me in it.

edit: can't remember the temp or humidity but it wasn't that bad out

What was the temp, humidity, etc.? If they were high, then it's just the conditions you're running in, not the car. I used to pull comparable '60s without spinning before I got all my mods (gotta love those 3.08s) Try running it in the fall, you'll do a lot better probably.
