Well I visited the track AGAIN tonight, didnt do what I wanted but it is an all time best so far. I race on a 1/8th mile track called summerduck, located in Remington Virginia. The only new mod I have installed were my new 3.73 gears, from 3.42. I was expecting better, but anything is better than nothing. Oh I did put a new set of tires on yesterday Sumotumo's 245/50/16. Here are the times....My best old time was 9.991

    RT ... .659
    60 ... 2.197 best ever *before best was 2.2
    330 ... 6.370
    1/8 ... 9.841
    MPH ... 70.29

    RT ... .711
    60 ... 2.227
    330 ... 6.390
    1/8 ... 9.872
    MPH ... 69.91

    RT ... .629
    60 ... 2.200
    330 ... 6.375
    1/8 ... 9.891
    MPH ... 69.40

    RT ... .630
    60 ... 2.209
    330 ... 6.348
    1/8 ... 9.852
    MPH ... 69.34

I am still working on getting the shift points correct with my hypertech, but to be honest, thats the only thing the hypertech has been good for. Before the hypertech I ran 9.9 on 87 oct after hypertech I ran a 9.9 with 93 oct. So Other than adjusting, rev limit, shift points, and removing speedo it hasnt really shown any performance gains. And I didnt know this till I installed my gears, it doesnt program 3.73 gears, and I called the company, they have no plans to upgrade for those gears either, so off to buy a new speedo calibrator for me.

    MODS THUS FAR
Whisper Lid, SLP Forced Induction CIA, 3.73 gears, Hyper 160 stat, Hypertech Programmer, 3 inch exhaust, High Flow Cat, 80 series Flowmaster Muffler, Eclipse Deck and 12 Eclipse Speakers, Amp, and MTX 10" Hidden speaker.

    Next Mods
B & M Shift Kit, had it for 2 months now, no one around here will install it, and a corvette servo.

Recommended Mods? Give me some recommendations. I have been thinking about a cam, but since I have no knowledge of them, I dont know where to start. I really would like a supercharger, but that will be my last and final mod, when I have the money. Currently I have 1200 saved up, so shoot me what you all think I should do

    Thanks

Just wondering, is there a formual for calculating probable 1/4 miles times from the info I posted about? Curious to see, since I will be going to a 1/4 mile track in a few weeks.

Yeah, it's something like 1/8 mile ET x 1.55 = 1/4 mile ET. So, your 1/4 mile times should be about 15.25, give or take. I wouldn't really use this for braggin rights or anything, just kinda a ballpark figure.
