14.86 @ 91.9 w/paper air filter...

so I cracked a new best today of 14.86 @ 91.91 on a 2.13 short time. my first run of the day was 14.906 @ 92.00 on a 2.18 short. my next run i adjusted the maft from 0/2%+ to 0/4%+ and with a 2.13 short i ran a 15.0x @ 91.4. so that's a tad too much fuel, or just driver error. I realy don'tt hink the maft did much for me anyway. But anyhow, I decided to swap my somewhat dirty holley powershot filter for a new STP paper filter for my last few runs. Had a decent launch, nothing special. I can't really launch on these potenza's, they're not sticky at all lol T-rated. had a best 1/8 mile too, 9.51. what suprised me is a had a spinning, not bogging 2.13 short, a 72.8 mph 1/8 trap, but only 91.9 on the trap. i usually gain almost 20mph in the big end, ,i was near a full mph off. Oh well, new best!

this was accomplisshed with Fast Toys ram air, whisper lid, 180* thermo, copper plugs, and flowmaster exhaust.

The temp was in the mid 60's.

I was with him that's why the "somewhat dirty" statement is funny. I saw the filter. :D

hehe actually last time I went to the track, they prepped it twice in my 4 runs, which is horrible, it rained earlyer and eventually rained out, and I didn't do horrible...
