Does any one live in Southern Cali.? I dont know where any drag strips are, and i want to start going, i would like to go with a fellow fbody? I live in Newport Coast, i am willing to drive quite a while to.

I live in Huntington Beach, I have never been to the track, it seems the closest track is Carlsbad about 40 miles south on the 5. They have test and tune runs all saturday starting at 11. I don't even know if I wanna race, the thought of ****ing up my daily driver haunts me.

I took my stock M5 camarov6 to the drag strip today, anyways long story short my best run was a 9.9sec 1/8th, the guys at the track said that after conversion and altitude or whatever it was a 15.4, is that good for a first time?
