• Times form first time at drag strip

I took my stock M5 camarov6 to the drag strip today, anyways long story short my best run was a 9.9sec 1/8th, the guys at the track said that after conversion or whatever it was a 15.4, is that good for a first time?

Yeah, I'd say that's in the lower 1/3 of what most people run stock, plus if this is your first time, you have lots of room to keep getting better. Keep going back and see how low you can get it. Experience in the key.

A 15.4 is in the low one third? How fast can most people run stock?

Yeah, sorry. I meant that you are in about the faster 1/3 of stock runners, at least from what I have seen. It's a solid number, especially for a first time out.

Nope, that is bone stock, stock everything, with everything in the car including my school books. It was the last run of the night. My first run i made a 10.2. I only got 4 runs in. What is the fastest anyone has heard of a BONE STOCK m5 v6 going?

When he asked if you had 3.42's and lsd, he ment did they come from the factory? Some cars (especially the newer ones) came with that. Check your RPO codes for GU6 or G80 or Y87.
GU6 = 3.42s
G80 = LSD
Y87 = Performance package which includes both of those plus better steering ratios.

My time on the NA timeslips page was back when I only had a K&N filter. Other than that, completely stock, still had the jack and spare in too! 15.1@93ish.

*added* that was by the way with 3.23's, open diffy, and stock 215 tires too!

Ender, you're from Riverside right? What track did you go too?

I wouldn't mine doing 1/8th track. That's alot less stressful to your car. I would like to test both birds.

Give me more info on this track. Thanks
